Effective June 1, 2002, ARCB instituted a continuing education
(CE) requirement for all of its certificants. Every ARCB
certificant must obtain 12 hours of continuing
education every two years from the date that
he/she certifies. For more details and/or definitions,

How to obtain CE credit as an ARCB certificant:
Basically, there are three ways to obtain CE credits with ARCB:
1. Attend a course offered through an ARCB-approved provider of
continuing education. For a complete list of current ARCB-approved

2. Attend a course offered through a nonARCB-approved provider. For a
copy of this application form, please click here.
3. Develop one’s own learning activity (also known as “Independent
Study”). For a copy of this application form, please

How to seek approval as an ARCB-approved provider of continuing
education:
Basically, there are two ways to become an ARCB-approved provider of
continuing education:
1. For those interested in offering multiple CE courses, please
