Before You Apply for the ARCB Certification Exam

Please review the following requirements before beginning your application.

Education and Training Requirements

To be eligible to apply for the ARCB Certification Exam, you must have completed a minimum of 200 hours of reflexology education and training, including at least 30 hours of practical, hands-on reflexology instruction.

Please review the Foot or Hand Exam requirements for additional information about the required areas of education and training.

Application Process

To complete the ARCB certification application process, you must:

1. Submit the ARCB Application (start below)

Your application includes:

• The application and examination fee; and
• A transcript documenting your required reflexology education and training.

A transcript MUST be submitted with your application. If you do not have a copy of your transcript, please contact your school or instructor and obtain one before beginning the application. A sample transcript is available HERE.

If you have questions about whether your transcript contains the required information, you may email a copy to info@arcb.net before beginning your application.

2. Pass a Background Check

Instructions for completing the background check will be provided separately after your application is submitted.

3. Successfully Complete the ARCB Client SOAP Note Assessment

Instructions for completing the Client SOAP Note Assessment will be provided separately after your application is submitted.

Scheduling Your Certification Exam

Once you have successfully completed all application requirements and ARCB has confirmed that you meet the examination eligibility requirements, you will receive instructions by email for scheduling your ARCB Certification Exam.

The examination is administered through Prometric and may be taken at a Prometric test center or through remote online proctoring, subject to availability.

You have 12 months from your application date to take the examination. Please review the Terms and Conditions included with the application for additional information.

Applicants Who Already Hold an ARCB Certification

If you currently hold one ARCB certification and are applying for another—for example, you currently hold the ARCB Foot Reflexology Certification and wish to apply for the Hand Reflexology Certification—please do not use the application below. Contact info@arcb.net for instructions.
